Opticis Optical IEEE 1394a/b FireWire Repeater M4-200 can extend signal transfer range up to 1,640 feet (500 meters) distance and speeds of up to 800Mbps in full duplex / double duplex data rate. A pair of VCSEL transmitter and PIN PD receiver inside of Opticis FireWire Repeater for high performance, best reliability. The M4-200 is a higher performance upgrade from the earlier M4-100 and has all been certified in all IEEE1394a or IEEE1394b to CE and FCC certifications.
For both FireWire 1394a and 1394b industry standards - 4-pin and 6-pin (to 400 mbps) and 9-pin (to 800 mbps)systems. For Apple Mac OS9 and OSX, Windows 2000 / XP and Linux or Unix systems with FireWire, iLink, IEEE 1394a or IEEE 1394b support. Fiber Optic cables OPTIONAL - uses: Multimode Glass 62.5/125 LC to LC Duplex cables.
